Out of hours
So the company's owner has been asking everyone but me and my friend, both of us go to lunch at non approved times, why we keep going to lunch at times other than 12.30 to 1.00. Very annoying, we can work over time and not get paid but if you go to lunch between 12.45 and 1.30 it becomes an issue. I'm thinking of quitting... can't take too much more of this kind of crap.
I took my sister and her friend out to dinner yesterday, she got straigth A's in her classes and I thougth she deserved a treat. We sat in the family section of a restaurant and boy let me tell you, the girls there were hottt. I mean I don't know if I am supposed to be looking around in the family section of a restaurant, but .. wow. I didn't know that under the viels the girls would be that good looking. Anywho, the topic of discussion at yesterday's dinner table was how my sister managed to get straight A's when
1. She hates what she was studying
2. She does not put in the required effort to understand the subject matter.
She is studying computer science but she hates the subject. She loves being able to show up my bro in computer knowledge so I guess I know why she took it. But still, if you hate a subject how can you be good at it?
In 11th grade, junior year of high school, I hated chemistry. In my senior year I had an awesome chemistry teacher and I realized I didn't hate the subject, I hated how the old teacher taugth the subject. So I guess she has really good teachers, but some how I doubt it. My experience says a good teacher can make any subject interesting, though in college I took subjects I thought were interesting and more or less taught myself. The professors, not all of them though, were more a hinderance in education than a source of help. But then again college is supposed to teach you how to learn. If you actually end up learning something, consider it a bonus. Not too many people end up working on things they studied. I will never have a job designing computer chips in VLSI. But I studied that stuff all the same. But I am alright with that, what I hate is working over time and being told I have to go to lunch between 12.30 and 1.00

LOL! Dude, it will be nice if you can post the pictures of the hot chick, of which you kept for yourself:P
If I took a photo of other people in the family section I would probably have been asked to leave the restaurant. But that imprint will be in my memory :-)
Now this is probably a stupid question..and shows me up to be a complete philistine...but do you ever meet girls that aren't your sisters? (apart from online!) How does it work?
Meet girls? ofcourse I do, I meet my sisters friends, my aunts and family friends etc. But to answer your intended question let tell you about how one of my co workers met a girl. We had both ordered lunch and were waiting for to pick it up when this girl came to the same counter to order food. My co worker slipped his business onto the table where she was standing and just walked away. If she was interested she would pick it up and if she wasn't she would just walk away. We came back in 5 minutes and there was no sign of her or the card. The girl called him about 1/2 hour later and they hit it of. Alot of people use blue tooth technology to meet women, but the traditional way ofcourse is through aranged marriages. So if I ever make the mistake of telling my mom I would like to get to know a girl she will take it as a sure sign that I am ready to get married to the girl. Good lord, this is almost as long as my original post so I will stop here. Let me just say that the way society here works is very very different from yours, but there are rules here aswell. Plenty of them infact.
There's always rules! Mothers are the same everywhere though!!
what's that family section for? I thought there's only smoking and non-smoking partition. Oh wait, that's in the States...
Mothers are the same every where on earth. They will always tell you to eat right, always tell you to save money for a rainy day, etc.
Family sections are for families and women. Singles sections is for men only. It would be awesome if they had a section for sinlge men and women :)
