Can't see my last entry

That's weird my last entry isn't linked to my blog properly. Maybe I just need to dump my browser's cache. Speaking of cache, since they keep adding more processor cores to the new chips
how are they going to manage the cache? I read a really good paper called "What every programmer should know about memory" about this kind of stuff. It had some stuff I think every computer engineer should read in an introductory course. Here is a link to the paper.

my daily schedule

So what's my schedule look like? I wake up around 8:30 a.m go to work around 9:00 a.m. I stay at work till about 6:30 pm get back home around 7:00 and then I go to the gym for about an hour, shower have dinner and then I'm done. It's already 10:00 or 11 and I have to get to sleep. Just like I have to do in oh about 2 house. So I'm sitting infront of my tv writing on my blog. At work I'm working on a man in the middle filter and my new obsession is digital compression. I am trying to understand how video works. I mean it seems simple enough. There are a few steps to it, and I might be completely off target but here is what I have understood so far
1. Take the image, cut it into small pieces.
2. Take each piece and do a Fourier like transform on it, one called Discrete Cosine Transform.
3. Do some other things to it, like compressing it.

I'm still on step two.. figuring out how DCT works. Will write more when I have figured it out.
Time for dinner.
