I'm an MCP !

Well, I just passed the microsoft exam. When I say just passed I mean JUST passed. The passing grade was 700 and I got a 700. Throughout the exam I kept thinking I was going to fail, I spent the whole day yesterday watching the cricket matches and when that was over I watched Office Space. So my preparation was top notch and that was reflected in my results. Plus it didn't help that all the books I had been using didn't cover alot of the things they asked in the exam.
Now that it is over I can pay attention to other more important things, like the Wii. I will probably end up buying one of these little beauties. They have them all over the place now, a bit expensive but not as expensive as the other new systems out there. Plus you get a decent workout while playing games so it's a good deal. I won't have to go to the gym anymore.. well not really. After watching 300 I really need to go back to the gym. I have slipped the past few months because of the exams and the plantar fasciitis. But I am going to see a doctor today and hopefully she can shed some light on why the foot hasn't healed yet then I will go sign up for the gym later today or tommorow. I'm sure I will have more to write when I get used to writing again.

tid bits from dinner

After dropping my parents of at the airport yesterday I went to have dinner with my Dad's sister and her husband. My Aunt is a bit of a wacko but her husband is an amazing man. He is a doctor and you can always have a great conversation with him on almost any subject. Yesterday at dinner he was sharing trivia and here are some of the more interesting pieces
  1. The part of the body that heals the quickest is the tongue
  2. All mamals have 7 veterbrae in their necks, that means that Giraffes and humans have the same number of verterbrae in their necks.
  3. The part of the body that is the most sensitive to pain is the cornea.
Anyways, I discovered that I dislike chicken Kababs that are not made with boneless chicken. Boneless is the way to go for Kababs.

Parents on vacation.

So let me start of by admiting that I still live with my parents. But then you have to realize this is quite common in families that originae from the Indian sub continent. We even have a name for it, the joint family system. Anyways, the point of this post was to tell everyone that my parents just left for vacation today. I dropped them off at the airport about an hour ago. I will have the house to myself for about a month. In other news I have scheduled an MCSE exam for the 22nd March. I feel I need to keep myself a busy or my brain will rot. I really don't have anything to keep me challenged at work therefore I plan to keep taking exams until I get to get to my MBA.
